Cargo in a Box

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Cargo in a Box is a product showcase. Everything the demos display — names, packages, prices, statistics — is fictional. But if you create an account or book a demo, we collect a small amount of real personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it lives, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This showcase is operated by Dudes That Code, the studio behind the Cargo in a Box platform ("we", "us"). The company details shown in the site footer are part of the fictional showcase; for anything related to your data, contact us at the address below.

What we collect

You can browse the entire site, including every interactive demo, without an account and without sending us any personal data. We only collect data when you actively give it to us:

  • Account data — your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, the profile photo associated with your Google account.
  • Demo requests — the name, company, country and monthly package volume you enter in the "Book a demo" form, linked to your account.
  • Sign-in state — Firebase Authentication keeps a session token in your browser so you stay signed in between visits.

What we don't collect

This site runs no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party trackers of any kind. The only things stored in your browser are functional: your sign-in session and your light/dark theme preference. Because none of this storage is used for tracking, the site does not need — and does not show — a cookie consent banner.

How we use your data

We use the data above only to:

  • Sign you in and keep your session active.
  • Contact you at your account email to arrange the demo walkthrough you requested.
  • Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell or share your data

We do not sell your personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing you haven't asked for. It is visible only to us and to Google, which hosts the infrastructure described below.

Where your data lives

Account data and demo requests are stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) on Google Cloud infrastructure located in the United States. Google acts as our data processor. If you are visiting from outside the United States — for example from El Salvador, Guatemala or Honduras — your data is transferred to and stored in the United States.

Signing in with Google

If you use "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us. That exchange is governed by Google's own privacy policy, and you can revoke this site's access at any time from your Google account settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data until you ask us to delete it. Demo requests are kept for as long as needed to follow up on your enquiry, and are deleted along with your account on request.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. The site does not yet offer self-service account deletion, so we handle these requests manually: email us and we will respond within 20 business days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All traffic to the site is encrypted in transit. Database access rules ensure that only you can read your own profile and demo requests from the client. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy — for example, if the showcase ever adds analytics — we will update this page and the date at the top.
